Arnold met with Lay of Enron before running. See the 'Enron" movie and also remember that it wasn't just Enron it was all of Bush-Cheney's best energy buddies from Texas. All of them in it together. Ed Gillespie, former RNC head and ENron PR man worked as an organizer for Enron and the GOP to blame the energy crisis on Grey Davis. Davis did a lousy of job of defending himself so that led to the recalland Arnold. A big fix. Amazing and tragic they got away with it.
