My main reasons for thinking 9/11 was an "inside job" are:

Reason #1: The fact that despite having by far the most powerful air force in the world, and having the most sophisticated radar technology, we couldn't scramble any planes to defend our nation's capitol with over an hours notice?!? Something really doesn't add up there.

Reason #2: The rediculously nonchalant attitude of our "leaders" on 9/11/01. I mean, it really is a case of reality being far stranger than fiction. You probably wouldn't believe the reaction of our leaders if it occured in a movie (you'd think it was a joke), but to think that such a dismal non-reaction actually occured in real life on 9/11 to the unfolding events is truly mind boggling. It really indicates foreknowledge, you just don't react that way without foreknowledge. You'd think there would be some indication of surprise and anger in our leaders, perhaps a rash decision or two, not passive non-reactions to the unprecendted events unfolding, as if it was just another day (reading a pet goat story). That to me is a major smoking gun.

Why did they act that way? Because, they know the most of the American people are uneducated dolts who could never possibly put 2+2 together and realize that their actions were totally inconsistent with a nation suppossedly caught off guard by suddend attacks.
