Corrigent Systems, a leading provider of Packet ADM (Add Drop Multiplexer) for next-generation transport networks, today announced that it is chairing a panel on IPTV, "IPTV Lessons from the Field", at upcoming Supercomm exhibition in Chicago, the largest US telecommunications conference of the year. Guests from KDDI and SBC will be discussing their experience with planning and implementing large IPTV infrastructure deployments. IPTV is a new service that traditional telecommunication companies are developing to offer video and other services over advanced IP networks.
Leon Bruckman, CTO of Corrigent, will chair the panel. Panelists will include Munefumi Tsurusawa, Director of Optical Networking at KDDI Labs, Japan; Ralph Ballart, VP at SBC Labs; Bob Larribeau, Principal Analyst at MRG and Gady Rosenfeld, VP Marketing at Corrigent. The panel is sponsored by the International Engineering Consortium as part of their educational program at the Supercomm 2005 event.
