Nokia component suppliers invest 300 mln usd in its China plant - report

BEIJING (AFX) - Nokia said five component suppliers have agreed to invest 300 mln usd in the Xingwang International Industrial Park in Beijing's Economic and Technological Development Area, the China Daily reported.

The newspaper, citing a company official, said the investment will help Nokia further cut logistics costs, improve production management and boost its supply chain.

The five component suppliers include Sanyo and Zhengyuan Group.
