All sorts of people talk about this methyl hydrate, including the U. S. government. Do you believe in it? To me it starts to sound like "cold fusion."

To other people, the Alberta Tar Sands sound like a fairy tale. That's one I literally buy into. Even Orrin Hatch believes in tar sands; I guess he has his fairy tale dragons that he believes in, too (goodness knows what he says at the dinner table about Hillary Clinton, for example).

I was just listening to that interview with Jim Rogers. His outlook for the United States is more dire than most people's on this thread. He simply dismisses everything the Fed has done for the last ten years as a catastrophic debasement of the currency. He considers Iraq an unmitigated disaster, but says that to invade Iran would be a far worse mistake. The only thing that diminished his credibility was some clear misconceptions that he has about the origins of paper currencies.
