I actually now believe the forensic evidence points to the Caribbean, UK ratline operation as the Pig men (dealers and proprietary trading desks) setting up a massive squeeze operation with Fed backing against the hedge fund's rate complex shorts and their anti-USD/commodity trades. There is very little long term economic planning or purpose other then expediency. It's about helping cronies and feeding Mr. Creosote one more thin wafer, and then feeding the public with Ministry of Truth rectifications. The Fed and US govt benefits indirectly and only in the short term by getting oil below $50 for a couple weeks, and keeping rates temporarily in check before the next hole in the dyke "surprises'' them.
