Civilization is a most interesting game. About 6 ways to win. I only go for beating the shit out of everybody, but you can win by cultural achievements, ECONOMIC domination, getting elected head of the UN (which is out right now, but could work the other way, at lest lin terms of economic alliances and embargoes), and, I suppose, domination of space, since you can build a rocket. Military works fine for one player. So would economic domination. Might try that next time instead of using my armies :-)
