RE: The Dialogic partnership program in place today allows them to concentrate on hardware, firmware, and standards development while companies like yours can focus on system integration and application development.

WHile Dialogic should be commended for their effort with SC-Bus (big improvement offer MVIP) and S100, they have not really provided an open platform. CTMedia does not currently have hooks for non-Dialogic boards. Interestingly, NMSS' platform does. I know a company that is actually writting a sw so that Dialogic boards can run under NMSS' NaturalMedia services. It was the most pain-free way that they could get their tools to support both boards. WHen NMSS claims that they are the open-systems leader, they do have some substance. After all, they have provided the means for competitors to sell boards that can seamlessly replace an NMS board. Now that is gutsy. I have yet to see such daring from our friends at Dialogic.

Don't get me wrong, I like DLGC. I have just been a bit disappointed in their failure to deliver a truly open platform.
