Can you be sure of getting to all the animals? I don't know about China, but in various parts of SE Asia, you see the big inverted baskets with the prized fighting cocks enjoying the view of the road. As you know, wagering on cockfights not only provides the bulk of many incomes there, but the owners are quite fond of the birds. Caged songbirds kept as pets are also common. I suspect many an owner will hide these or spirit them out of the area. Not to mention the common run of wild birds. Pigs, ducks with clipped wings,and other domesticated livestock shouldn't be a problem, but how do you achieve a total cull?
