The only reason any of those people is banned is because of bad behavior, not because of their political persuasion. Some seem to be libertarians, some conservatives, and a couple I'm not really sure what they are.

I guess the liberals who post here are just generally better behaved. When I try to calm the thread down or change the tenor of the posts, liberals tend to respond to subtle suggestions and gentle guidance. None of them have the hidden agenda of being really very nasty and destructive in the sense of deliberately going against the thread rules. Or perhaps they have a basic respect for each other just as most conservatives probably have a basic respect for each other, and when they do argue they are not trying to destroy Feelies.

At the same time, there are some arch-conservatives here who are always very polite even when people disagree with them, and they argue in a generally civil manner.

Anyone who comes here with the agenda of trying to ruin this thread or has such negative feelings about me or some other poster here that their behavior becomes even more hostile and rude when I say something about it almost certainly will be banned for uncivil behavior. Those people do not tend to be liberals for some reason, but I don't really like gross generalizations.

I at least attempt to have some rules. From what I hear, people are banned at other threads whimsically or because of their political positions or just because the thread head is in a bad mood that day.
