re: B.S. like that 90% "statistic" that Harry Reid repeats over and over again makes me less optimistic of any bipartisan solution. Of course, each side always says, "It's THEIR fault." Don't you think it would be sensible to withdraw the nominees that are so objectionable to the minority? There are plenty of qualified judges out there. Isn't this the way reasonable people operate? You can say "they did it first" or "they did it last time", but that doesn't really make any difference right now, does it? I'm not really for either side; I'm for sensible, constructive government. And I applaud the 14 who stood for compromise, not nuclear solutions or shutting down the Senate work. All these assholes have gotten way out of hand. We didn't elect them to fight each other, we elected them to make the country a better place to live. John
