I remember watching them on tv, but they weren't age peers of mine. Dick The Bruiser and The Crusher were in the movie, The Wrestler, starring Verne Gagne and Ed Asner. There is a great scene where a couple of mob guys are shaking down Asner, when The Bruiser and The Crusher grab them and start throwing them around the room and down the stairs. In the same movie, Dusty Rhodes and the late Dick Murdoch are trying to stay out of trouble so they can headline Asner's show when some karate guys (Oddjob from Goldfinger was the most famous one) start breaking up the tables in the diner and Dusty and Dick have to beat them up. And go to jail. <G> Haystacks was like the least talented guy I've ever seen. But huge.
