Kerry was 100% right about Iraq. He was totally different on Iraq than Bush. He had two choices, war powers or not. Bush had just promised the Senate he would exhaust all diplomatic remedies and only go to war as a last resort with the largest possible Gulf War style coalition. Though Kerry indeed knew Bush was probably lying, he could not know for sure. Kerry also wanted to make sure Saddam was disarmed of WMD's, but by exhausting the UN inspections prior to any possible invasion. Kerry also wanted the war costs half paid for by a partial tax cut repeal for the rich, and wanted the money accounted for.

Bushies lie their heads off on this one.
