I think he was thinking pre hitler europe. I dont think he meant to say that jews didnt relate to other jews but just not predominately in an ethnic way. Post holocaust and with Israel back in business, israel became for jews around the world what italy is for italians. If jews have more diverse dna than italians, its because they were dispersed and now all that dna is incorporated into jews around the world. We should get MQ into this debate. He has some unique ideas. Mike
