Therein lies the problem. Until the government stops trying to run things, it'll be a luke-warm economic success, at best.

All governments act as suffocatocracies, including the purportedly "free" USA, which is anything but. But some are less smothering than others.

From what I read, India is only fiddling with freedom. Can money swoop in and out without reporting to anybody in a government department? I can click and move money here, in large dollops and tranches [though I'm sure our increasingly suffocating government will cancel that short-lived freedom - introduced in 1984]
