To a point, but perhaps not as much as you may believe. If I am an Israeli citizen, even if I am a Jewish citizen, there are restrictions as to who my wife may be and how I can bring her over and what treatment my children will have. In short, an Israeli Jew is coerced into making state approved decisions for choices that are highly personal.

I'd take the same position for any country. I do not recognize the right of the government to restrict family unions.

Ditto for the Saudis who are whipping other Saudis because he did not fallow Islam according to their wishes.

I believe in the notion of inalienable rights and so I am against all such practices.
