As far as I'm concerned, when the inmates next complain about mishandling of the Koran (which in some cases mean a guard touched it, can you believe it?), the Muslim chaplain should be sent round to remove the Korans, assuring the inmates that they will be kept safe in ritual purity, somewhere else. This is insane. If they want full ritual purity free of infidel touching, let them stay out of American jails.
