Nice try but Mapplethorpe didn't call it Piss Catholicism. Even people of other religions like Jews and Muslims who don't recognize Christ as the Son of God revere Him as a good man and a prophet. Mapplethorpe was a homosexual, died of AIDS, and much of his other work was about anal sex with such things as whips being inserted anally. He was also into pain and bondage.

If Mapplethorpe had taken plastic images of Bill and Hillary and dunked them into that disgusting mess and called it Piss Clintons, would you call that a statement about Baptists? Would liberals be calling that a great work of art?
