Re: Good link. It's time for everyone to commence yelling at their representatives. About a month ago, five of us set up a meeting with Rep. Greg Walden's local staff member. He gave us about an hour to discuss the fraud that Bush is trying to perpetrate with his calls to "reform" Social Security. Walden is a Republican, and the young staffer was polite, diffident and only spoke approved GOP lines. About what you'd expect from a petty bureaucrat. I don't know if we made an impression. The staffer assured us he would pass along our concerns to Rep. Walden. Well see how far that goes. Walden is pretty much goosestepping right along with the destruction of democracy. He's almost impossible for the public to get to. In the few instances he does interact with voters, it is almost invariably behind a gate of one sort or another. It's a scurrilous pattern he's developed.
