Scott,

Have you tried using the GTD system yet?
Just curious. I had a read through that webpage
and it sounds interesting. I was thinking that
i might get a copy of the book for one of my brothers.

I'm always interested in seeing different approaches
to handling "stuff" and "getting things done".
Seems to be such an individual thing and very much
dependent on one's personality and ways of organizing
one's world.

Most systems don't work that well for me as I tend to be
very visually oriented. Also, my memory is pretty much
photographic (something I take entirely for granted
but which has a tremendous impact on how i run my life).
Most of what I do in life is what I class as
"non-transferable" -- another person would be stumbling
around in bewilderment if they ever had to deal with
trying to sort through my stuff.
That's kind of a scary thought -- especially if I ever
pegged out suddenly.
I've given some thought to that in recent months,
so have been working towards getting things organized in
a way which maintains my very visual system, but that would
make sense to Mr. Croc if he had to find things without
my assistance.
Yesterday, I built a large, pine shelf unit that will hold
a bunch of aluminum boxes with tags which describe the
contents of each box.
Anyhow, that's my "Getting Things Done" project of the moment.
