Rare that I agree with an opinion piece posted by you 100% :) It should be added that even the call for early elections shows Schröder's disregard for the German constitution. Its authors deliberately created high obstacles to dissolve the German parliament prematurely - after the horrible experiences of the Weimar Republic. Schröder is still struggling to find a procedure how to reach his goal without blatantly violating the constitution.
