The "Queen's English" is never taken literally to mean what "SHE" speaks. Its a description of "(propper) British English" as opposed to "American English" or "Indian English" or "Aus/NZ English" or "Carribean English".

Which reminds me of a conversation with a friend today : Went along the lines of "You, your partner and myself will meet at X restaurant". Go figure.

My English is not "pure English", if such a thing ever existed. I first learnt the language about 35-40 years ago. It sure has evolved for me due to many reasons.
