One company we almost bought was headed by a guy named "David Bowman". No kidding. When we were first introduced, I congratulated him on his name and asked him what Jupiter was really like. He had no idea what I was talking about.

OK, we might be a minority (& dying breed) of classical sci-fi readers. BUT how on earth can you carry the name "David Bowman" for 40+ years and NOT have heard of 2001???
