I couldn't agree more with this sentiment. I also believe that this is among the greatest bubbles the world has ever seen, and the results will inevitably be a pop heard 'round the world, with ripples extending over many many years. Japan had 16 years or so of continuous real estate decline, I believe from 1989 to 2004.

That having been said, I am a holder of NFI. If I were to put my money where my mouth was, shouldn't I sell these these shares. A sub-prime lender seems like one of the most likely and most vulnerable targets.

I know you divested yourself of NFI but for reasons unrelated to the housing bubble.
