Republicans don't resign, they don't have enough character to resign. For goodness sakes, they tried to say that even if Tom DeLay was INDICTED, he could still remain their head honcho. Republicans have no morality, no character...they're sociopaths. I still think that only a general draft will wake up most Americans to the NO-WMDs, LIED-TO-YOU, $350B+ DISASTER, HAL-FRAUD, etc. corrupt mess that is Iraq. O'Neill brought up the same issues months and months ago and what has that accomplished? NADA. NOTHING. No more than a mildly interesting blip. Too many Americans think that the war in Iraq is over and that we're just mopping things up before we leave. Without it hitting them PERSONALLY IN THE NOSE, it won't make any difference. It's like this inane debate over stemcells. Those Republicans who are staring disease and accidents straight in the face vote to fund research. Just as with Nancy Reagan, it has to hit them PERSONALLY before they grow a brain and understand the human suffering.
