Hogwash. scientists are influenced by conservative theories based on what has been observed in the world When the American Psychological Association re-classified homosexuality from a disorder to normal (after 100 years) --the only thing they "observed" was social and political pressure. We can see today how scornfully the medical profession regards all forms of "alternative" medicine, which has more to do with turf protection than with observed phenomena. The editors of scientific journals, gatekeepers to new knowledge, are heavily committed to orthodoxy.
