BUT, I'd like to know what the politicians deem to be "rich" and "middle" and "poor" Like in Alice and Wonderland, they mean whatever... I think rich means hopping on a plane whenever you like and never considering not flying first class, unless you can fly on a private plane, that is. That would be the top one percent of wealth and income, I should think, maybe as large as the top three, although I have been in the top three and didn't consider myself rich. Rich at a 70K threshold is risible.
