It's interesting that I can't think of a single individual, politician, government or society that has changed their opinion on Iraq from anti- to pro-war since we invaded. Maybe someone can point out where I missed one.

The post-invasion motives for invasion can be debated on their merits - geopolitical influence, counterterrorism, oil, etc.

But the original premise for going to war is a minority cause that is losing what little credibility it ever had for your average moderate independent.
