Hi Zeta, Haven't even had a chance to take the rubber band off my FT today. The French vote was not much of a surprise. Expect Holland to go the same way. European integration will take a long time. Europe has certain structural problems, such as demographics, that are much worse than those we face in US. I'm frankly not sure how Europe or US will ultimately compete vs China in manufacturing or India in services. US and Europe are getting to be old and tired superpowers. Political trends on both sides of the Atlantic look reactionary to me. Asia's the place to be. But there are always exceptions, like Google, Genentech, etc. Sam
