Iraq is different from Germany and Japan. Iraq never posed a threat to the US or any of its neighbors whereas Germany and Japan did. So Muslims in general and Iraqis in particular think that this happened for oil and for Israel. There are no parallels for that in the case of Germany or Japan. Two years from now, things in Iraq will be even more messy than they are now. There will of course, be the "general election circus" and the "Saddam trial circus" which will keep us amused for a while, but it is not going to change the end result, which is a descent into greater and greater chaos.
