And how is this different than how the civilians were starved to death or died from lack of antibiotics during sanctions?

Um, maybe because they were deliberately targeted? And let me remind you of a salient fact that seems to have slipped your mind: the Kurds were also under sanctions, but none of them starved or died from lack of medicine. That's because Saddam didn't get a chance to steal their Oil for Food money and spend it on palaces and bribes. So who deserves the blame, hm?

And if I'm not mistaken, this is the very sanctions regime that you favored maintaining instead of going to war. Now you say it was equivalent to mass murder. So, were you a supporter of mass murder?

A fact that I am sure breaks their heart, however it seems to me they are playing the game of if we can't have it no one can any support base for the for a government that legitimizes US is part of the enemy.

In any event, I do not condone of the specific actions you cited, but nor do I believe they are just running around with wonton lust for blood.

I don't believe I ever said that they were murdering innocent civilians just for bloodlust. They are murdering innocent civilians for political gain and to achieve 72 virgins in Paradise. Terrorism is a cheap weapon when you have a lavish supply of splodeydopes running in from Saudi Arabia. Doesn't buy them many hearts and minds in Iraq, though.
