I think you must be buying all the Bush claptrap about Amnesty International, or at least you have absolutely no understanding of what it does as an organization, which is to investigate, record and report human rights abuses in every region and country of the world on a continual basis. Contrary to what the Bush propaganda machine would have everyone believe, they are not an anti-American group. It there is evidence of human rights abuses in any country they report them--it is as simple as that.
You can go to their website and click on any country and all of the reported human rights violations come up. Here is the list of reports for the Sudan for the last three months, for example. The date goes before the month because that is the European style, if you are looking at the dates.
