"You keep trying to confuse the issue by equating abortion with the murder of adults." Confuse the issue? That IS the issue. Actually not just adults but all stages of Human development. The admittedly arbitrary point at which you are willing to grant person hood could just as easily be adjusted up or down so you could murder anyone at any age and justify it. What you are proposing amounts to a cull of Humans, a sort of equal opportunity genocide. I don't want to live in China where you can kill newborns with impunity simply because they are girls. You may find that attractive but it repulses me. There is plenty of room and plenty of food for all the people on this planet. Therefore, I reject your notion that we are running out of resources and that there are surplus Human Beings that need to be killed to make more room for Spotted Owls. Even if what you say is true, it still does not justify the murder of innocent Human persons, but I suppose if you are that concerned you might choose suicide. At least that would show that you have the courage of your convictions instead of picking on the weak and helpless.
