An abosolute moral value might be a belief that personal freedom from government restriction is an absolute good.

I question that as an example of an absolute moral value. How did it get to be absolute?

I know of no way for a value to acquire the quality of "absolute" but to be declared so by some authority. The standard authority for such things is God although it could be an earthly authority such as a monarch or the Pope.

If you're looking at that as a value you personally hold dear and wouldn't compromise for everything, fine, but we all have those and they differ so there's nothing absolute about them.
