Lehman Brothers now upgrades AEGON NV: 3:16am 06/01/05 Aegon upped at Lehman on recovery in key operations (AEG, NL:30176) By Aude Lagorce LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Lehman Brothers upgraded Dutch insurer Aegon NV (AEG) (NL:30176) to overweight from neutral, saying it believes the recovery in its solvency allows it to support a higher level of growth. The broker told clients it believes evidence that the insurer is now returning to growth in its key operations. "In the U.K. and the Netherlands, we expect sales to grow in the medium term because of Aegon`s expanded distribution in the U.K. and the growth potential coming from the Dutch Levensloop products, which are likely to be introduced in 2006," the broker said.
