Been doing my homework this weekend and the only stock I can come up with for a strong upside play is XIRC. Xircom develops, manufactures, sells and supports a solutions for mobile and remote personal computer users. Net sales for the nine months ended 6/30/97 rose 39% to $163.7 million. Net income from continuing operations totalled $9.5 million, up from $2.7 million. Revenues reflect higher sales of LAN adapters, modems and multifunction LAN and modem cards due to growth in overal market demand. Earnings also reflect higher margins due to cost reduction efforts. Book Value 5.59, Price/Book 2.5, PE 24.14, ROA 8.95, ROE 13.38, Debt .01, Margin 5.6%. Check it out before you buy. George
