Not true. The U.S. purposely avoided bombing infrastructure in Iraq. Then they started rebuilding what was destroyed. But the insurgents target oil installations and pipelines, electricity power stations, and water supplies. They know that to exert maximium pressure on the U.S. all they have to do is make the Iraqi civilians miserable. Then people like you and the Iraqis will blame the U.S. for not making Iraq a paradise, when in reality the blame lies with the insurgents.

Look. If I gave you a suitcase with couple million dollars so you never have to work again, and your brother came over and burned the suitcase, who would you blame for it? Would you blame me or your brother? You should be blaming your brother, as you should be blaming the insurgents. It's just easier for you to bite to the hand that feeds you, instead of rising up to fight the hand that impoverishes you.
