No. The worst enemy of Democracy are people who hate the U.S. more than they love life. They will make Democratic nations become security bastions with closed borders and unwelcoming immigration policies. All of Western Civilization needs to spend whatever it takes to fight the ideology of hate that has been spawned in the Middle East. It's going to take Democratization and re-education in the mosques and the madrasahs...and yes, the occasional military confrontation.

I agree Bush is not the man who can do this job, but the need for the job to get done won't end when Bush is gone in 2009.
