I didn't review the early June 04' cross...

I note that there was a cross Sept 04', Jan 05', and most recently today (June 05')... in all these cases, the cross was followed by a pullback...

Your post made me want to take a historical view to collect some additional data... as I hadn't gone back to even catch the point you had referred... Here are my results:

June 05' - ?
Jan 05' - pullback
Sept 04' - pullback
June 04' - no pullback
May 04' - pullback
April 04' - N/A - crossed ma's
March 04 - pullback

While I see the % favors a pullback... 4 out of 5... (not counting the Apr 04')

But I agree with your sentiment... there does not seem to be much here... The odds of the pullback when they cross increases if the Sto was at an extreme... but that is a bit redundant...

We shall see how this latest cross turns out...

Thanks for your comments...
