I am always for giving children fresh fruit. However, there are so many programs which affect children on which Schwarzenegger is on the wrong side, that an argument can be made that there are more important issues than fresh fruit on the table.

Are you arguing that fresh fruit for children is the very most important thing? More important than good teachers, safe, high quality schools and good medical care?

If you think fresh fruit is the most important thing you can give a child, then I understand your position. As much as I love fresh fruit, I personally don't believe it is. Once Schwarzenegger has been impeached, or at the very least voted out of office, then the Democrats will again concentrate on the fruit, I am sure.
