However - the loading/unloading issue is real. Hong Kong is the only location I know of that consistently uses multiple doors to process an aircraft quickly

Overall, airline management has failed to deal with the unloading issue. The USA major carriers can't even unload a 737 quickly. The supervisors are not getting someone on the jetways immediately so the plane can be unbottoned.

Another issue is the size of the terminals. Many cannot handle the simultaneous pax load from a couple 747 or 340/380s. Airlines and airports need to find a quicker method of distributing the pax as they exit.
