Further Penetration of Corporate Network Access Markets due to Partnership with Leading Distributor in the Nordic region and Baltic States; Channel Now Totals 43 Distributors and Over 1500 Resellers Worldwide

OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill., and BRUSSELS, Belgium, June 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VASCO Data Security (Nasdaq: VDSI), a global provider of enterprise-wide security products that support e-business and e-commerce, today announced that it has reinforced its indirect sales network by partnering with Nocom, a value-added distribution organisation (http://www.nocom.se).

Nocom will sell VASCO's Digipass Pack consisting of Digipass tokens and VACMAN Middleware, to its network of resellers. Nocom already sells the products of VASCO's solution partners Symantec and Sonicwall. VASCO's Digipass acts as an add-on for these products.

Nocom is a value-added distributor, offering software with qualified support and training, to facilitate and streamline the activities of companies in the Nordic region. Nocom offers resellers and partners a comprehensive range of market-leading IT security solutions.

"VASCO is a leading supplier of authentication solutions and has a strong brand name that is associated with quality. VASCO also adds further depth to our security portfolio and to the value proposition our partners and resellers can provide in end customer solutions," says Peter Lamber, Vice President, Nocom Sverige AB.

"Security is a topic that is on everybody's mind. We expect two factor authentication to be an important component for enterprises that want to secure their customers against fraud schemes such as Phishing and Man-in-the-middle attacks."

"We welcome Nocom as a distributor for the Nordic and Baltic markets," said Jan Valcke, VASCO's President and COO. "We are convinced that the joint forces of both companies will create a more secure Corporate Network Access environment in this region."

To become a VASCO distributor, companies must meet a number of criteria. First, a distributor must have one or more products of VASCO's solution partners (Citrix, Novell, F5 Networks, SonicWALL, Watchguard, Juniper, etc.) in its portfolio. Secondly, VASCO distributors need to have thorough knowledge of the local market and of VASCO's products by having their staff trained and certified by VASCO. Thirdly, they need to share with VASCO the business spirit and focus on quality.
