What you just witnessed from NT yesterday was a sigh of relief that NT doesn't have more bad news... Talk about a company that has been given unmerited favor! There is so much grace that has been bestowed on NT that it makes a good analogy for understanding the true meaning of the word... What blows me away is that NT can spending 500MM in cash on PEC and no one blinks an eye! If you are wondering why NT and LU is priced where they are, Elroy did a reasonable job at comparing enterprise values over trailing sales a couple of postings back... NT is in much worse shape than LU when doing the same compare. thestreet.com
