Could Felt not have gone to any of the Supremes? Is there no one else in government he could have gone to? Even the 3rd in line for the Presidency?

If there was NO one else, then it is no wonder the press is so out of line today.... Perhaps they think they can at will try to bring down any Presidency at will.

I don't know why you think Felt is being castigated because it was a "Republican" president... Nixon got the US out of VietNam....but he also caused Watergate, and therefore his own doom.
