Thats more bs bill and totally inaccurate as to what my views are. What i wrote has to do with effective government and not whether i support bush or not. And in fact i do support him. but criticize him and his team for mistakes they make along the way. And rethinking decisions over time is not something we have the luxury to avoid. Did you ever admit your mistake about flowers in iraq? I expected flowers too--we didnt get 'em and the war goes on and despite what UW says, we didnt win in vietnam and we are in stalemate in iraq. So time for alterations on existing policy perhaps? or do you have the gene that says you never made a mistake or the one that says even if we make mistakes, we must never admit to it. You are smarter than that Bill just to come at me with empty slogans about me being unprincipled. By the way Carter sucked and i worked for Reagan actively in 1980. I think whatever prosperity we have comes from Reagan's mid course correction of the welfare state. But he used the big tent which you abhor to get mass popular support. You are content to lose the pop vote in 2000 and win narrowly in 2004 when there was a much bigger mandate to be had. Bill, Al gore almost won because of small tent and if a John Kerry clone had run who had not gone to Vietnam he would now be president. Bring back Roger Ailles and lose karl rove. Mike
