We got kids who haven't learned basic math , reading and now want to require advanced math and a foreign language.

There is no agreement in this country in how to handle kids that can't or won't learn the tougher subjects. One thing we know for sure. We are doing a lousy job of teaching the base subjects to all. The stats show it.

But most people think their little darlings are doing well because they bring home a "B" average. Not understanding that this average is really phony in many cases. The Teachers pretend to teach and inflate grades while the kids pretend to learn.
