we also got a very unbalanced education system in this country. If you got the money you send your child to private school or buy a home (takes bucks) in a great school district. I really felt for the principle on 60 minutes (i think) the other night showing the big difference in schools in one district next to the other one in Carolina. It is so sad that in the United States we cannot support our education system for all kids. I am not saying the teachers are not part of a problem. But the imbalance is so severe imo. It is criminal to see the disadvantaged schools and kids. The system is broke and there is no interest to fix it if it may take away some benefits from our own children and give them to others.
