They are taught that Islam is the greatest relgion and only true religion and that people of other faiths are their enemies.

Not unlike the message people like say falwell or dobson preach to their flocks. So these respective leaders of their faith are not as extreme as the islamic counterparts you say? Sure...but let the political process unfold as it is currently in the US, and it goes there too.
