Paul:

If you are a technology company there is no such thing as "inflation". The motto is more for less. Yet the shareholders of Compaq and Dell are not complaining. In a competitive society deflation is normal. Today, companies cannot get away from hiding their unproductive operations by increasing their prices. Productivity is the name of the game today and deflation is it natural consequence.
