Scott McClellan has already equivocated about this and the letter from Rep. John Conyers and 100 other members of Congress (latest estimate of co-signers). And McClellan has dismissed the issue as "old news".

I'd be quite surprised if any White House reporter would have the temerity to raise the issue in Bush's next press conference. To do so would be a big step toward career suicide for the reporter.
